Community ROOTS

What would it look like if our schools and workplaces honored our full humanity? How would our relationship to learning and working change? Would joy, care, accountability and growth be more possible?

At ROOTS, we remember that every interaction, institution and cultivated space can bring us closer to oppression or closer to liberation — the choice points are there. If we created systems and structures that hurt us, we can also create systems and structures that free us.

We work with organizations, schools and communities to identify those choices, develop practices that invite justice and equity, and create spaces where students, employees and community members can thrive.

Complete the pre-client questionnaire, linked below. After reading through your responses, we will schedule a meeting with you to discuss the possibility of partnership. If we all feel ready to move forward, ROOTS will tailor-design a workshop for your school or organization that is responsive to your needs, all the while ensuring an interactive, experiential and justice-grounded series.

Our facilitation team and staff consists of educators, environmental and racial justice advocates, healing practitioners, scholars, frontline workers, community organizers, social workers and more. We have over 20 years of experience in facilitating workshops on issues of equity, justice and solidarity.
